Mokhlesur Rahman appointed MOPA secretary

Mokhlesur Rahman has been appointed as senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) for two years on a contractual basis.
He is an officer of the 82 batch of BCS administration cadre.
Mokhlesur has served as deputy commissioner of Moulvibazar, divisional commissioner of Chattogram, secretary of Anti-Corruption Commission and secretary of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) during his career.
Mokhlesur joined the Ministry of Public Administration this afternoon, MOPA senior information officer Mohammad Zakir Hossain told the media.
Earlier, in the day, MOPA senior secretary Mohammed Mesbah Uddin was removed from his duties by making him an officer on special duty (OSD). At the same time, Mokhlesur was appointed as senior secretary of the ministry through a notification.
